LEARNING ABOUT JESUS

In order to learn about Jesus, a person needs to understand both Jesus and his father 'God Almighty' and some things God said before and after Jesus came into this world. So let's begin.

The bible is based on prophecy of both past events and future events still yet to come. The coming of Jesus was one of those events foretold many years ago to the prophets in the Old Testament. The Old Testament is written in Hebrew and has been translated to various languages throughout the world. This gives people an opportunity to read and learn about those events and what is said about Jesus and the coming events in our day an age, which may not be that far way.

One of the main set of events in the Old Testament hover around God's plan for mankind, of which he sent one of his sons down to earth who became a living person of flesh and bone as we are, and dwelled among us in the flesh just as we have. He ate and drank just as we do. He walked and talked like we do, and had all the findings of a person made just like us. Flesh and Bone.

As I said on the Home Page of this website, this website focuses on the bible and what is says, and not what religious people say. Many religions use perspective and their beliefs as reasoning for what they push, but not real bible facts to support their views. That is not the case here. No religious views are presented on this website.

GOD ALMIGHTY:

The bible explains a few things about God giving us a persprective on what he is like. Basically though, there are only three things mentioned about him that shows us this; John 4:24, Col 1:15, and Rev 4:3.

John 4:24 says "God is Spirit." Which means we can't see him because we can't see spirits. Col 1:15 calls him "the invisible God." Which also means we can't see him. However, Rev 4:3 reveals to us that he has an appearence that can be seen, or at least in heaven he can be seen. "And He who sat there was like a jasper and a sardius stone in appearance; and there was a rainbow around the throne, in appearance like an emerald."

Both Jasper and sardius are what we would call a burgandy color, or dark red. There are even small streaks in them of a darker color like brown or black. This is what the apostle John said he saw when he was in heaven at the throne of God. As you can tell, this is not a flesh and bone body, nor is it human in any fashion. John did not go on to say whether or not God has hands and feet, but God did hand a scroll to Jesus with his hands.

Revelation 5:7 says this: "Then He came and took the scroll out of the right hand of Him who sat on the throne." This indicates that God has hands of some sort. Other than that, there isn't much else to by on the looks and aprearance of God. So why does the bible say God is invisible? That is an answer than can only be answered by an assumption. That ssumption is that the energy of God is invisible, but not the Almighty himself.

The air around us has a blue tint to it, while at the same time it is invisible, and we can see right through it for many miles. We can see the stars above us at night, and the sun, moon, and clouds in the day time. This is likely the same about God. Though he has color, he is still invisible to our eyes here on earth.

Another way to think about him is electricity. We cannot see electricity either, yet it is there and it can have powers of different levels. We can see lightning though, and a even a small spark, which is a form of electricty. Therefore, in a consentrated from, we can see electricity. No doubt a consentrated form is what John saw when he saw God. Afterall, he was right there at the source itself.

The REAL BEGINNING of JESUS:

Most people will learn about Jesus and how he lived and walked among us and stop there, but there is much more to his story. His birth is the one thing learned early on, followed by his death on the cross and then his resurrection. Thus the development of Christianity is made up of the followers and people who believe this story. This is where most people stop their learning adventure, and are happy with the knowledge and belief.

What I'm going to show you on this website goes beyond the average persons knowledge and gets into a much more advanced way of looking at Jesus from another perspective, and that is the pre-existance of Jesus in heaven before he came down to earth. As you will see Jesus claimed that he was from above and that he also lived before the time of Abraham, and before the World, and he even claimed he saw the fall of Satan from heaven.

"And He said to them, "You are from beneath; I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world." John 8:23.

Jesus said to them, "Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM." John 8:58.

And He said to them, "I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven." Luke 10:18.

"And now, O Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was." John 17:5.

So now we have two question that need to be answered: How long before Abraham or the World did he exist? And when was the falling of Satan that he saw?

Many people will tell you Jesus was from everlasting. However, there's no bible documentation or scripture of him existing that far back, but there is one scripture that serves as documentation for Jesus existing in heaven before the time of Abraham, and even before the World was, and that comes from Revelation 12:5; "She bore a male Child who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron. And her Child was caught up to God and His throne."

Despite what many people choose to believe, that verse is indeed the very beginning of Jesus. Many people teach Revelation chapter 12 is purely symbolic and cannot be taken literally. But as you will see at varying places on this website, and on this page, it is a chapter that details many things to us, and so yes, it can be taken literaly.

This is the only verse in the bible that reveals to us when Jesus was born in heaven, and how he was taken up to be with God at his throne immediately after his birth. We know it was immediate because of the words "caught up." This is the word Harpazo, which means it took place very quickly, and before Satan could influence him or devour him.

Before I go any farther, I want to point out that altering anything in the Book of Revelation is strictly forbidden, and verses 22:18-19 point that out. If a person adds to it, they will receive the plagues, and if they take away from it they will be taken out of the Book of Life. Therefore I speak straight forward and neither add or take away from this Book of Prophecy. And with that said, I will continue.

What's more important is not only does Rev 12:5 show us his birth, but it also gives us a timeline for the birth by the previous verses. For example, 12:1 shows us heaven was already there, and so was the sun and the moon. The woman also had a "garland of 12 stars," which means the stars were also present and existed. Then in verse 12:4, we see that the earth also existed before Jesus was born. Therefore, we know the heavens, earth, moon, sun and stars all existed before Jesus was ever born and came to be.

What day of creation did these things come into existance? It was the 4th day of creation. Therefore, we know immediately that Jesus did not exist anytime before the 4th day of creation, which is Gen 1:14 to 1:19. So why won't people understand this? Because of their religious beliefs, pier pressure, and how people keep getting pushed by others on what to believe.

This birth is denied by many people, and in fact it's denied by most of the so called "Christian" religions who stand on the idea that Revelation chapter 12 is purely a symbolic chapter, or that most of it is and that it only reflects future events. But this ideology is easily ruled out when other factors of the bible are taken into consideration. For example, the fall of Satan in Gen 3:14, is the same event of Rev 12:7-9. We know this because Satan does not fall twice, but only fell once and that was in Gen 3:14.

This helps us learn Chapter 12 is a set of past events, which includes the brith of Jesus in heaven. Also in those verses, we can also see that Satan existed before Jesus did, as he was waiting for his birth so that he could devour him, perhaps not knowing God was going to _Harpazo_ him up to his throne to be with him. It was later when Jesus came to earth after being sent down by God. But things didn't turn out the way Satan wanted because of the Harpazo, (snatching) of Jesus being caught up to God and his throne where he lived in safety.

JESUS's BIRTH IN HEAVEN WAS NOT SYMBOLIC

So how do we know that Rev 12:5 is Jesus and not some form of symbolism? Because this too can be found in Revelation and in the book of Isaiah. In Revelation chapter 19 it talks about the return of Jesus. There in verse 19:15, we see this statement: He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. This matches the very same statement in 12:5: She bore a male Child who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron. Therefore, since Jesus is the only one who is to rule all the nations with a Rod of Iron, we know Rev 12:5 is confirmed as the birth of Jesus.

The coming of Jesus was also prophesied in Isaiah in verse 9:6. It reads like this: For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. The rest of Isaiah 9:6 will be covered in the webpage Isaiah 9:6 I have made for that purpose. But for now, we know that Jesus was foretold, and that he did exist in heaven before he was sent down to become a man born of flesh and bone.

BEFORE THE WORLD WAS

The importance to understand this is by far a very important issue. John was shown the birth of Jesus to declair when and where he came from. This establishes his beginning in heaven, which cannot be refuted by any scripture in the bible. However, there is another verse that shares a point that needs to be clarified as to what it means, and it's this one: "And now, O Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was." John 17:5.

The "World" as the New Testament mentions many times, is not creation. Despite that many people have been lead to believe it means creation, it in fact does not mean creation at all and is not tied to creation even once. In every instance World refers to mankind; people, tribes, nations and kingdoms. Not once does it refer to creation. The promise is to save the "World," not creation. Observe the following verse: "And if anyone hears My words and does not believe, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world but to save the world." John 12:47.

Now listen to this one: "But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up." 2 Pet 3:10.

This clearly means that heaven and earth are not the "World." Therefore trackng down the birth of Jesus stops at the beginnng of the population of people. And when we add in the variable of the Sun, Moon, Stars, Heaven and Earth, and see that these were not completed until the end of the fourth day of creation. Therefore, we know Jesus was born in heaven sometime after the 4th day of creation on either the 5th or 6th day, and not a moment before.

FOURTH DAY OF CREATION

"Then God said, "Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs and seasons, and for days and years; . . . Then God made two great lights: the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night. He made the stars also, . . . God set them in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth, and to rule over the day and over the night, . . . So the evening and the morning were the fourth day." Gen 1:14 to 1:19. in part

What this tells us, is that our days and years, and Sun, Moon, Stars, and the Heavens and Earth as we know it did not exist until the fourth day of creation. Therefore, since they already existed at the time Jesus was born in heaven in Rev 12:5, we know that Jesus was born sometime after the fourth day of creation. This means it was impossible for him to exist anytime before then, much less in the beginning or frm everlasting like so many people have been lead to believe.

THE EARTHLY BIRTH of JESUS:

Jesus was sent down to become a man of flesh and bone and live among us. How he came was by way of Mary, the woman who gave birth to to him. Luke 1:35 says this: And the angel answered and said to her, "The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God.

So we have a son being born in heaven and now being born on earth and is to be called the Son of God. It only makes sense then to call him the Son of God, because clearly we can see that he is not God Almighty.

Jesus then lived among us and waited until he was about 30 years old before he came forward as the Messiah, Luke 3:23. He was baptized by John the Baptist, and thus it started his journey for mankind. God recognized him at that point time and let it be known that Jesus was his son. And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased." Mat 3:16.

Therefore we know, that Jesus is to be called the Son of God, and known as the Son of God. And as the timing of his birth reveales, we know that he is not God, nor the creator. This is what the bible says about Jesus, and none of it can be refuted, although there are many people who refuse to accept it and change scriptures to fit their dis-belief.

THE SPIRIT OF GOD REVEALS WHO JESUS IS

Getting to know who Jesus is, is done by way of God revealing who he is by his spirit. As Jesus pointed out to Peter, seeing who he is doesn't come from any teaching of man or mankind, and not even by scripture, but comes only by way of God sending his Spirit to open the eyes of a person so they can see Jesus for who he is.

"Jesus answered and said to him, "Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven." Mat 16:17.

This is why there is a distinction of the Antichrist Spirit verses the real Christ. The Antichrist Spirit denies Jesus is the Son of God, and this is done in many different ways, including the claim that Jesus is also God being one of the most commmon ways.

The Antichrist is a Spirit that will enter into people and give them false ideas on who Jesus is. Whereas the Spirit of God doesn't do that and clearly shows who his son Jesus is to those whom he has chosen.

Therefore, if you believe Jesus is the Son of God, then you are among the chosen, regardless of what someone else might tell you or want you to believe. Keep in mind, there are seducng spirits in the world as well as the Spirit of the Antichrist and the spirit of Satan that will try to take away your belief. It's up to you to not let that happen.

This can be an uphill challenge for some people to resist people, spirits, demons, and Satan on who Jesus rreally is and stay with the truth of who Jesus really is: The Son of God, born of flesh, sent down to save mankind by bringing them back to God Almighty, his father and creator.
